Dow Is ....

This alert resides on a chart of the DOW. Many feel that when the DOW is up or down significantly that you would not want to trade against it. The tool comes defaulted with an input of 100 for the DOW to alert you when the DOW exceeds that amount. Beth will speak and say something like, “Dow is 195 points.”

As in the ADX alert, this is helpful to advise you when you should be looking for a “continuation” of a move, trade, rather than a market reversal, trade.
