Ever get caught with your guard down by being in the market when important news is released? This tool will keep you ready for such occurrences. (You may still want to be in the market, but at least you won't be sitting there in ignorant bliss when the market goes in your face.)

Each morning, one minute after the S&P opens, you will be reminded to input the day's news times into the tool. (News times can be obtained from your broker or various publications.) There can be up to five different times. As the day progresses, Beth will remind you that Market news is due out in N minutes. In such a case you might want to tighten your stops, or perhaps go flat. That's your decision as the trader. At least, you are prepared for a price spike.
