Say Points

This indicator is a neat way to have your computer give you a report when the market has moved at least N points in X minutes. For example, if we just had a big move in a short time, then logic would tell you:

• If you are in the market, you better think about moving your trailing stop.
• Perhaps after a big move in a short time, you should look for a market reversal.
• Maybe one of MTA's other tools will give a signal (or two), thus confirming a needed action. (This is all subjective to the trader.)

This tool is named "Say Points," because that is what it does – Beth says the number of points. It is helpful because sometimes we become distracted and just don't recognize the fact that the market has made a substantial move. Beth will signal by saying something like, "Market has moved 250 points in the last 12 minutes."
