Shem's Curve

As any wise trader knows, an indicator used in isolation is a recipe for disaster. A good combination of indicators that work well together as a team is Shem's Curve and LRS Turn-3.

Shem's Curve is a line that is plots magenta when the market is going down, and cyan when the market is going up.

For example, (as in the chart below) the market had been going down. Shem's curve was magenta, and LRS Turn-3 was plotting occasional magenta crosses. At the point circled in blue, Shem's curve turned cyan and LRS Turn-3 plotted a white cross. (Normally the two indicators will not turn on the same bar. In those cases the trader waits until they are both bullish/bearish.)

Both of these indicators are included in the same Shem's Preference Package.
